An established and highly regarded allied health organisation is launching a new paediatric occupational therapy service and is seeking an experienced Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist to oversee its clinical direction and growth.


This is a unique opportunity for a senior clinician who is ready to step into a leadership role with genuine influence. You will play a key role in shaping the service model, clinical standards, and day-to-day operations, supported by the systems, resources, and stability of a well-established rehabilitation group.

About the Role

As Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality paediatric OT services. Working closely with senior management, you will contribute to service design, clinical governance, and team leadership while maintaining a hands-on clinical caseload.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and families
  • Establishing clinical frameworks, workflows, and service standards
  • Contributing to service development, quality improvement, and growth initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of clinicians
  • Engaging with families, referrers, and community stakeholders
  • Upholding best practice, compliance, and ethical standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Extensive experience working in paediatric occupational therapy
  • Leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a senior role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver's licence
